AMMAN— Cold weather conditions are forecast, on Friday, with
a chance for scattered showers in the northern and central parts of the
Kingdom, and during midday may extend to limited parts of the south-west, the
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

According to the Meteorological Department report, the weather will be colder
in most areas in Jordan at night and winds will be westerly moderate, stirring
dust in the Badia regions.
In its report, the meteorological authorities warned of the
risk of slipping on the roads in areas where there may be showers in the north
of the Kingdom, and the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility due to the
dust and formation of fog over high mountains and parts of the Badia areas.
The weather on Saturday remains cold in most areas of the
Kingdom, and partly cloudy, especially in the north of the Kingdom. On Sunday and
Monday temperatures will rise slightly, with the weather remaining cold in most
areas of the Kingdom.
Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of
12 degrees Celsius, sliding to 5 degrees at night.
Highs in the port city Aqaba will hike up to 24 degrees during the day, while
lows will stand at 13 degrees.
