AMMAN — The
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) warned of the danger of frost formation in the early morning
and late night hours on Sunday, especially over the highlands and parts of the
Badia regions.

Meanwhile during the evening hours, the Kingdom will
be affected by a depression and rain is set to fall in the Kingdom’s northern
and central areas, extending gradually during the night to the southwestern
regions. Downpour may be sometimes heavy in parts of the northern parts at
night.
During the late night hours, light flurries of
rain-mixed snow will fall over the highlands and winds will be westerly active,
with strong gusts of dust, in desert areas, the JMD added.
On Monday, a drop in mercury is forecast and the
weather will be very cold, with continued downpour during daytime in the
Kingdom’s northern, central and southwestern regions, the JMD said.
