AMMAN--Saturday will see a "slight" rise in temperatures, and the weather will be cold almost countrywide, while fair conditions will prevail in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department said in its daily update, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

In its report, the JMD warns of the danger of frost formation in the morning and late night hours over hilltops and Badia regions.
On Sunday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, however remain below their seasonal average and the weather will be cold almost countrywide and pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
In addition, light showers of rain are forecast during the morning hours in the northern regions, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
As for Monday, a rise in mercury is forecast, and spring weather will prevail almost countrywide and relatively warm conditions will hit the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Also on Saturday, mercury in Amman is expected to range from a high of 11 degrees Celsius, dropping to 2C at night, while Aqaba is forecast to see a fair 22C degrees, sliding to 11C during night hours.
