AMMAN— The
weather on Saturday will be cold and partly cloudy with showers of rain
forecast in the Kingdom's northern and central areas, the Jordan Meteorological
Department (JMD) said on its daily update.

According to the JMD report, chance for downpour
will weaken in the evening, and cold and partly cloudy conditions will prevail
almost countrywide and fog is expected to form over the mountainous heights and
plains.
JMD warns of the danger of slippery roads that
witness rain and risk of fog formation in late night hours over hilltops and
the mountainous heights and plains.
On Sunday, the weather will be cold almost
countrywide and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
Meanwhile on Monday, a slight rise in temperatures
is forecast and the weather will be pleasant almost countrywide and moderate in
the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
As for Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a
state of atmospheric instability, as scattered showers of rain are expected
during the day in the Kingdom's southern and eastern regions, accompanied by
thunder sometimes.
Temperatures will hit a high of 13C in Amman
during the day, sliding into 8C at night, meanwhile Aqaba will see a fair 24C,
dipping to 16C during night hours, the JMD said.
