The General Assembly of the Jordanian Olympic Committee renewed its confidence in His Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein as president for a new term during elections held on Monday afternoon in Amman.اضافة اعلان

Prince Faisal retained his position unopposed, alongside the successful election of four individuals for the appointed members of the Olympic Committee’s Board of Directors. These include Youth Minister Yazan Al-Shdeifat, Mohamed Alyan, Suhair Al-Ali, and Jihad Qtaishat, in addition to Zaid Al-Sa’ida, Vice President of the Royal Chess Federation, and Batool Al-Nasser, a member of the Karate Federation, representing the Olympic-recognized federations.

The elections for the remaining members of the Olympic Committee’s Board of Directors are still ongoing, with three Olympic athletes running for two spots, and 12 candidates from Olympic federations competing for 10 seats on the board.
