Constitutional amendments key step to enhance political life in Jordan

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdel Karim Al-Doghmi said that the constitutional amendments recently approved by the Parliament, including elections and parties laws, constitute a key step to cementing political life and national economy alike in the Kingdom, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

Doghmi, in an interview with Jordan Television yesterday, stressed the importance of the National Economic Workshop's outcomes, held at the Royal Hashemite Court, noting that a number of economic drat laws will be submitted to the Lower House during its extraordinary session, including the investment draft law.

He added that the investment draft law would be a quantum leap in investment, pointing to the importance of the recovery process after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite all conspiracies and a difficult regional and international circumstances, Jordan is strong and socially cohesive under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Doghmi told Jordan Television.

Commenting on the Russian-Ukrainian war, Doghmi said that such conflict will adversely affect a number of countries worldwide, including Jordan, which required all Jordanians to be more united.
