AMMAN — The weather is predicted to be cooler this week,
with temperatures continuing to be lower than their normal average by about
6-7°C. However, the winds will abate a bit after Saturday, according to the
Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

A partly cloudy atmosphere on Sunday will bring cool
temperatures ranging between 13-14°C and 7-8°C in Amman and northern
governorates, including Irbid, Jerash, and Ajloun. The wind will blow at 20-26
km/hour in those areas.
Moderate ambient temperatures in Aqaba are expected to reach
a high of 25°C during the day and a low of 15°C at night. Colder temperatures
are predicted in Madaba, Karak, and Tafileh, ranging between 14-13°C and 4-5°C,
while cool temperatures in Maan are expected, ranging between 17°C and 10°C.
On Monday, relatively cold weather is forecast across the
Kingdom, reaching 18-16°C in the daytime and dipping to 7-4°C at night. The
wind speed will range between 6-20 km/hour.
On Tuesday, cool temperatures are expected arounswd the
country, where highs are expected to be 18-20°C and lows 7-8°C. A moderate wind
speed is predicted to reach 14 km/hour during the day and die down to 4 km/hour
at night.
