The
judicial body said the convict violated articles
3 and 9 of the Human Trafficking Prohibition Law, and Article 101/1 of the
Penal Code.
The convict offered one victim $15,000 in exchange
for his kidney, and the victim agreed.
He did not proceed with the transaction, however,
after another organ trafficker stated that the victim was too young for the
procedure.
The second victim, on the other hand, was initially
offered $8,000, but he changed his mind and was met with threats of drug
trafficking and the confiscation of his passport from the convicted individual.
At the hospital, the victim refused a second time,
and was threatened at gunpoint to undergo the procedure. Eventually, he was
given $7,000 and his passport back.
Later, he filed a complaint against the convict.
