AMMAN — The Amman Court of Appeals on
Tuesday dismissed an appeal by convicts in the Salt Hospital oxygen outage
case, and upheld their conviction and sentencing to a three-year prison term
each for causing the death of nine people, according to the Jordan News Agency,
Petra.

The court declared the ruling final, and upheld the
acquittal of eight other people in the case.
A panel of jurists at the Amman Magistrates Court,
which has the jurisdiction on the oxygen outage case, has found four former
directors and an oxygen technician in the hospital guilty of causing death, 10
times, and handed them prison terms of three years.
