AMMAN — HRH
Crown Prince Hussein on Wednesday, the second day of his working visit to Egypt, visited with Islamic and Christian religious officials.

The Prince visited the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Cairo, and met with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmad Al-Tayyib on Wednesday before heading to meet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria.
Crown Prince Hussein then visited an exhibition held by the
Jordanian Tourism Ministry and the Jordan Tourism Board at St Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Cairo to promote religious tourism.
Crown Prince Hussein, earlier in the day, attended a military exercise conducted by the Egyptian army’s Special Operations Group of Al-Saiqa Forces, according to a statement from the Royal Court.
The Prince listened to a briefing on the history and development of Al-Saiqa Forces, and was shown samples of weapons and equipment used in counterterrorism operations.
Prime Minister
Bisher Khasawneh, Jordan’s Ambassador in Cairo Amjad Adaileh, and Crown Prince Office Director Mustafa Khalifeh attended the exercise.
HRH Crown Prince Hussein also visited the Suez Canal Authority’s Maritime Training and Simulation Center on Wednesday as well, and was briefed on the logistical and investment services provided by the canal.
