The verdict, which can be appealed, was issued in a public session. It came after it was proved that the convict had asked for a bribe from one of the cleaning companies operating at the department, and was caught while taking the bribe.

Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission caught the man, who works with the customs police, red-handed, taking bribe in return for turning a blind eye to the company’s lack of commitment to the agreement reached with the department.
