AMMAN - Director General of the Jordanian Department of Palestinian Affairs (DPA) Rafiq Kherfan, discussed with Director of
UNRWA Operations in Jordan, Marta Lorenzo, a number of issues related to the agency's work in the Kingdom, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Funded by the German Development Bank (Kfw), the agency's projects include "Rehabilitation of Jerash Camp Streets " and its "Solar Power Plant," according to a DPA statement on Thursday.
In addition, Kherfan and Lorenzo discussed the roadmap for the agency's appointments to reach 7.5% rate for daily workers, and the timeframe required for this process, in addition to the standards and foundations that will be applied in this regard, the statement added.
Kherfan lauded the agency's efforts in providing services to Palestinian refugees.
Lorenzo, for her part, expressed appreciation to the Jordanian government for its continued support to the agency.
