— The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources extends the tender deadline for
the Second Azraq Solar Energy Project. This project facilitated through a debt
swap agreement with the Spanish government, aims to harness solar energy for
sustainable power generation. Interested parties now have until April 18 to
submit bids, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

government emphasizes commitment to renewable energy, clarifying the project
will follow a "turnkey" contract model and integrate seamlessly into
the national grid as a government-owned entity. The project aims to spur
investment in solar energy, create local job opportunities, and align with
national renewable energy goals.
