The registration period for the General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) for the academic year 2025 will end on Thursday evening for regular students, new private study students, and students who have not completed the requirements for passing or wish to improve their grades, according to the Ministry of Education.

The registration process began on Sunday, March 3, and will continue until this evening. The Ministry of Education has confirmed that no extensions will be made beyond this date.
Earlier, Mohammad Shihadeh, the Director of the Examination Department at the Ministry of Education, had predicted that around 350,000 students would register for the Tawjihi exam, distributed between the 2007 and 2008 cohorts and repeaters.
Shihadeh also mentioned in a statement to "Al-Mamlaka" that the 2008 cohort will be the first to take the exams under the new system, which lasts for two years.
Registration Procedures:
Regular students will receive their registration forms through their schools during the registration period.
New private study students for 2025 will obtain their registration forms by visiting the directorates of education during the registration period. Students outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan can visit Jordanian embassies and cultural attachés in their countries of residence.
Students who have not completed the requirements for passing or those wishing to improve their grades will register electronically via the website (exams.moe.gov.jo), and there is no need to visit the directorates of education. The registration fees can be paid during the announced registration period via "E-Fawateercom" through the app or authorized agents. Non-Jordanian students must visit the Examination Department at the directorate of education they are affiliated with and submit two recent passport-sized photographs (4x6 cm) after completing the registration and payment processes.
Required Documents for Regular Students and New Private Study Students:
A copy of the personal identification card (civil status card) or a copy of the passport for Jordanians, or a certified copy of the passport for non-Jordanians, or a certified copy of the identity card for children of Jordanian women, or a copy of the security card for Syrian applicants who do not have a passport.
Two recent passport-sized photographs (4x6 cm) matching the attached personal document.
A copy of the military service document for male Jordanian students who have reached the age of 17.
For new private study students: Original or certified copies of the educational certificates and documents that allowed them to apply for the public exam, or the latest transcript of the Tawjihi examination.
Registration Fees:
20 Jordanian Dinars for regular students in public schools.
50 Jordanian Dinars for regular students in private schools.
For non-regular students (private study students): 20 Jordanian Dinars registration fee for the exam + 10 Jordanian Dinars for each subject consisting of one paper that the student wishes to take, and 5 Jordanian Dinars for each paper in a subject consisting of two papers.
The textbooks for the 2025 public exam are those for regular students in the current academic year 2024/2025 (Cohort 2007).
