Minister
of Labor
Nayef Steitieh, who inked the agreement with the executive director of
international relations at BA, said the deal is a byproduct of
previously-signed agreements.
It
will secure Jordanians willing to work in Germany expertise from one of the
world’s most advanced economies, he added, noting that a job will require
applicants to pass a language level test.
It
will also identify the choice and employment process for qualified Jordanians
as certified nurses in Germany, he indicated, adding that it will implement the
Triple Win nursing project, a project of German state organizations for
recruitment of nursing professionals from non-
EU states for the German
healthcare and nursing sector.
He
said it had been agreed on a mechanism to promote Jordanian competencies
according to the needs of the German market and to provide Jordan with a list
of professions required in their market.
Steitieh
stressed that such efforts indicate the strong Jordanian-German relations that
King Abdullah and Chancellor of Germany
Olaf Scholz are committed to enhancing,
commending the German government’s efforts to exchange expertise with Jordanian
youth.
