AMMAN — The Aqaba Digital Hub (ADH), a
project created by
Jordanian entrepreneurs, and the Palestinian Ministry of
Telecom and Information Technology signed a memorandum of understanding to link
the Aqaba Internet Exchange Point (IXP) with that of the Palestinian
government, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Under the memorandum, Palestinian telecommunication
companies, internet service providers, and digital networks will have access to
digital content available through ADH’s IXP, AqabaIX.
The deal, signed on the sidelines of the MENA ICT Forum
2022, will enable Palestinian companies to exchange high-quality data with
global content providers and Jordanian, Arab, and international
telecommunication companies present at AqabaIX, according to a statement issued
on Sunday by the
Ministry of Digital Economy.
