The deal, inked by NCFA Secretary-General
Mohammad Miqdadi and WUSC Jordan Country Director
Nancy Momany, aims to develop
a curriculum for nursery caregivers, expand and rehabilitate nurseries in
Jordan, and hone the skills of childcare workers — including home sitters and institutional
and private nurseries.
Miqdadi said the deal is part of the two entities’
join cooperation and efforts to benefit families, focusing on the early
childhood phase as the foundation of life.
Highlighting the role of nurseries in
developing children's skills, he said specialized training sessions must be offered
to service providers to ensure integrated, high-quality services and safe and
supportive care environments.
For her part, Momany said experts and
partners will review the new curriculum, and training sessions will be held to
exchange expertise and equip trainers to advance the nurseries sector in the
Kingdom.
