Aqaba– The Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority has decided to extend the implementation period for recalculating parking fees for non-residential uses in various areas of Aqaba.

The new start date will be April 1, instead of January 1.
According to a press statement from the authority on Thursday, this decision aims to give more time for investors and property owners of non-residential properties to adjust their situation and facilitate the licensing procedures.
Additionally, the board approved the performance indicators for the strategic plan for 2024-2028 during its meeting yesterday.
These indicators will measure the progress toward achieving the strategic goals and objectives, as well as monitor the implementation of projects outlined in the plan.
These decisions are in line with the authority’s strategic vision for the years 2024-2028 and the economic modernization vision, aiming to stimulate and enable investment in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone.
