He added that the
decision was taken quickly by the follow-up and coordination between the
department and the GAM to solve the issues related to the electronic stamp. He
also stressed that all previously pending transactions were completed.
He also stated that the
department has been working with different ministries, official departments,
and organizations to provide the best services for customers. Ziben also
explained that the recent problems related to the electronic stamp are
considered normal setbacks for new services, which have been remedied moving
forward.
The approval was issued
based on a circular by Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh for all public
organizations to approve all electronic transactions, including QR codes, by
Tuesday, Al-Ghad reported.
Ziben commended the
GAM’s efforts to provide the best services.
Khasawneh issued a
decision after a long pause of citizens’ transactions because the GAM approved
the QR code without consulting the Department of Land and Survey and because of
the absence of an official decision regarding this matter, which violates
article 28 of Law No. 79 in 1966 for regulating the cities, villages, and
temporary buildings and its amendments.
