AMMAN— Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of
the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, HRH Crown Prince Hussein attended the
opening of the 10th International Conference of the Royal Medical Services on
Tuesday, according to a Royal Court statement.

Titled
“Global Challenges and Sustainable Development in Health”, the four-day
conference is being held at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Center at the
Dead Sea, with the participation of 8,000 experts in various medical
disciplines.
The
conference aims to exchange knowledge and expertise and features 450 scientific
lectures, sessions, and workshops, including livestreamed surgeries for
educational purposes.
On
the sidelines of the conference, Crown Prince Hussein inaugurated the Jordan
Health Exhibition and was briefed on the latest medical equipment and
technologies on display.
HRH
Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, Lower House Speaker Ahmad Al-Safadi, Royal
Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Health Minister Firas Al-Hawari, Deputy
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Brig. Gen. Abdullah Shdeifat, Director of
the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain, and a number of army officers and
officials attended the conference’s opening ceremony.
