AMMAN — On Friday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates
Ayman Safadi concluded his meetings with a number of his counterparts on the sidelines of the 76th session of the
UN General Assembly, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Safadi met with his Singaporean counterpart, Vivian Balakrishnan, to discuss enhancing the bilateral ties between the two countries in various sectors.
Both ministers also discussed the latest developments occurring in the Middles East and a wide range of international issues.
In another meeting with the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Yves Le Drian, both ministers touched on some regional issues, including talks about the Palestinian cause, the UNRWA, supporting Lebanon in its crisis, and the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership.
Safadi also held talks with Belgian Foreign Minister Sophie Wilme that covered enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields between the two countries.
Safadi also met the UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir O. Pedersen, and both sides discussed efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
Furthermore, Safadi expressed Jordan's support for the United Nations Security Council Resolution 2254.
He also met with a number of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) representatives, as talks between the two sides focused on ending the Israeli occupation in Palestine based on the two-state solution.
Safadi also met with Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides and discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Moreover, Safadi discussed with Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade, tourism, and defence spheres.
