Dialogue on women’s political party participation held in Jerash

AMMAN — Shabbat Jo, a women’s political empowerment foundation, held a dialogue session in collaboration with the Jerash Sports club on Saturday, entitled “Women and Youth in the Northern Region and Political Parties: Obstacles and Solutions,” according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

President of the Jerash Sports Club, Numaan Outoum, said that such sessions, and encouraging political work and involvement in partisan work, are at the center of the clubs’ social and cultural values.

The chairperson of the women’s committee at the Jerash club, Hind Al-Shourouqi, contended that the session aims to introduce the role of political parties and share the outputs of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System, especially regarding youth participation and women empowerment.

Hamza Al-Hawamdeh, who facilitated the discussion, spoke about political parties and their role in the development of parliamentary work.
 A number of participants shared their experiences in political party work, pointing out the obstacles that face partisan work and youth in particular.
