AMMAN — On Friday, the impact of the very cold air mass on the Kingdom deepens. There is a significant decrease in temperatures. The weather will be very cold, cloudy, and rainy in the north and center of the Kingdom and parts of the southern regions, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

It is expected that the rain will be heavy at times in the north and center of the Kingdom, which leads to the formation of torrents in the valleys and low areas. There is a possibility in the night hours and for a short period of light showers of snow over the southern high altitudes, and the winds will be westerly active speed with strong gusts sometimes, which are dusty in the Badia regions.
In its report, the Meteorological Department warns of the danger of torrential rains forming in the valleys and low areas in the north and center of the Kingdom, including the Dead Sea area, and of the risk of slippery roads in areas experiencing rain, and risk of low visibility due to fog formation above the heights terrain, and the low visibility due to dust in the Badia regions, and the intensity of the winds and the accompanying flashes.
The minimum and maximum temperatures in Amman range between 2-10 degrees Celsius, in the Dead Sea 8-17, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 8-17 degrees Celsius.
