AMMAN — A slight drop in temperatures is expected on
Thursday, so it will be fair in the highlands and the plains, and hot in the
Badia areas, the Jordan Valley and
Aqaba,
with westerly brisk winds, blowing dust at times, the Jordan Meteorological Department
(
JMD) said.

On Friday, a further dip in mercury levels is forecast, but moderate weather
conditions will remain in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be
relatively hot in the Badia, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and
Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate to active winds, the JMD added.
The highs in Amman and
other highlands across the
Kingdom will range between 28°C and 17°C on Thursday.
In the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, it will be much hotter with mercury levels in
the 38°C vicinity.
