AMMAN — Dry and blistering heat will prevail nationwide, with a rise in
temperature forecast on Saturday to become 6 to 7 degrees above the seasonal
average, Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said, according to the Jordan
News Agency, Petra.

Winds will be occasionally active causing dust, especially in the Kingdom's
southern and eastern regions, which leads to low horizontal visibility, JMD predicted
in its daily report.
Until Tuesday, the weather will remain dry with a scorching
sun countrywide and dusty, especially in the Badia regions, the forecast said.
Mercury reading in the capital Amman is envisaged at 36 degrees Celsius during
the day and a low of 18C.
In the Red Sea resort of Aqaba, temperatures are expected to
soar to 40C, dipping to 26C during night.
