AMMAN — The Chairman of the Board
of
Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission (EMRC) Ziad Al Saaideh announced
the approval of 3,000 permits to obtain applications for home electric charging
stations, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

During discussions with the Parliamentary
Finance Committee on the draft General Budget Law for the fiscal year 2024,
Saaideh stated that the EMRC has approved licenses for 60
public electric charging stations that provide services to citizens.
In addition, he spoke about the direction to
grant permits and licenses for the operation of public stations, aiming to
cover all Jordanian governorates with the services provided to citizens by
facilitating the procedures for the entry of approximately 30 to 40 new
stations into the market to offer their services.
