EU lifts Covid travel restrictions on Jordan

AMMAN — The Foreign Ministry on Thursday announced that the European Union Council has officially lifted Covid-related travel restrictions imposed on Jordan as of July 1.   The ministry said in a statement that the decision was driven by the improvement in the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom and following "intensive communications and efforts undertaken by the Ministry and the Kingdom's embassies with the European Union and its member states."
