— The European Commission declared Tuesday the removal of Joran from its list
of high-risk countries.
In
a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, The EU Commission’s mission in Jordan
wrote “The EU Commission removed Jordan from the list of High-Risk Third
Countries and acknowledged all its efforts to counter money laundering and
terrorism financing,” Ammon News reported.
"Protecting
the financial system is key to development and stability. Well done!" the
EU commission added.
