Education ministry exempts underprivileged Tawjihi students from exam fees

AMMAN — A number of General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) regular students in Jordan’s public and private schools have been exempted from Tawjihi registration fees, Ministry of Education announced. The decision, according to a ministry circular issued on Sunday and carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, stated the categories included in the exemption; the offspring of injured personnel of Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army, those severe physical disabilities, in addition to beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund (NAF) and students who were unable to sit for the exam due to defense orders related to COVID-19.
