AMMAN —
Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued a communiqué on Thursday
announcing that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday is scheduled to start on Friday, April 21 and continue through Monday,
April 24, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

All ministries and public departments,
institutions and bodies, official universities, municipalities, service
councils, and companies wholly owned by the government, as well as the
Greater Amman Municipality, will suspend their work in observance of the occasion, the
communiqué said.
However, the communiqué excluded from the
decision those ministries and official departments where the nature of work
requires otherwise.
