AMMAN – On Wednesday, the
Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) announced the start of maintenance work on some expansion joints
on the Eighth Circle Bridge as part of a Kingdom-wide project to maintain the
expansion joints on bridges, Al-Ghad reported.

The ministry stated that, in cooperation with the
Public Security Directorate (PSD), partial road closures will be implemented on one of
the lanes until the
completion of maintenance work. Afterward, traffic will be
diverted to the other lane using the same procedure. This arrangement will be
in effect from dawn on Friday, February 23, until the evening of the same day.
The traffic diversions are equipped with all necessary
safety elements according to the specifications of the MPWH. Road users are
urged to adhere to safe driving practices and follow the instructions of field
personnel and partners from the PSD.
