Electric load hits 3,120 megawatts Saturday evening

AMMAN — The electric load registered 3,120 megawatts Saturday evening, compared with a morning load of 2,580 megawatts, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.اضافة اعلان

It said data by the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) showed that the highest load ever recorded last January stood at 4,010 megawatts.

NEPCO stressed that the power grid in Jordan is capable of enduring any electric load, pointing to plans in place in preparation for high electric loads expected during the summer.
