Pakistan's Embassy in Amman organized a seminar marking Kashmir Solidarity
Day at the Chancery, a press statement said.

The
event was attended by Jordanian notables, members of academia, media, and the
Pakistani community.
Speakers
including Jordan’s former deputy prime minister and minister of trade of Jordan
Mohammad Halaiqa and Ambassador of Pakistan to Jordan Sajjad Ali Khan, among
others, spoke about the plight of Kashmiris under Indian occupation and
condemned India's revocation of Article 370 and 35A.
These
articles, according to the statement, guaranteed the independent status of IOK
as per the Indian Constitution), on August 5, 2019.
The
speakers drew similarities between the Kashmir and Palestine disputes and
offered special prayers for the victims of both regions.
