Emergency team rescues person who fell off cliff

AMMAN — Public Security Directorate personnel on Monday rescued a person who fell off a cliff in a remote area near the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, according to Al-Mamlaka TV.اضافة اعلان

Upon receiving a 911-emergency call, the Dead Sea Martyrs Civil Defense Center mobilized search and rescue teams to locate the injured, who had fallen in particularly rugged terrain 15km from the nearest public road and sustained several injures.

The injured person was successfully located and transported to the road on foot and then taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. He was reported to be in fair condition.
