Jordan 24 website quoted Mahasneh as saying "we cannot predict
the amount of precipitation or the water situation based on this first rainfall,”
especially knowing that some dams were empty and absorbed good quantities of
water.
She pointed out that studies conducted by the Ministry of
Water determined that cleaning dams requires a large amount of money, but that
further studies will be conducted to determine the amount of silt deposited and
the feasibility of cleaning them.
