Amman -- The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Kharabsheh, reviewed the progress of priority initiatives outlined in the Economic Modernization Vision (2023–2025) for the energy and mining sectors.

The updates included advancements in petroleum exploration projects and efforts to expand natural gas distribution to industrial cities across Jordan.
Kharabsheh highlighted the importance of tracking ongoing projects slated for completion by 2025. Among the key initiatives discussed were green hydrogen production, energy storage solutions at Mujib Dam, and exploration activities in Risha, Jafr, Hamzah, and Sarhan.
The minister instructed liaison officers from involved entities to monitor the implementation of projects listed in the government’s executive program. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the established timelines and ensuring steady progress in line with the vision’s goals.
Kharabsheh also called for stronger collaboration between liaison officers and stakeholders to meet the government’s commitments to advancing the energy and mining sectors. This coordinated effort is expected to facilitate the successful execution of projects aimed at enhancing Jordan’s energy infrastructure and resource management by 2025.
