Livestock breeders, through the Directorate of Agriculture in Mafraq, have exported 46,000 sheep from all over the Kingdom to Gulf markets.
The Director of Agriculture in Mafraq, Engineer Abdullah Al-Qudah, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Thursday that sheep exports to Gulf markets were resumed four days ago, and this will positively impact the livestock sector in the Kingdom. It will also contribute to supporting the national economy and ensuring the sustainability of this important economic sector.
Engineer Al-Qudah pointed out that the export of sheep to the Gulf markets will not affect local sheep prices.
