Amman – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi underscored on Sunday that Jordan is keeping a close eye on the security, safety, unity, and sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Safadi emphasized Jordan's dedication to supporting the Syrian people as they work to rebuild their nation, institutions, and political system. He highlighted the importance of ensuring Syria’s security, sovereignty, freedom, and a dignified life for its citizens.
Safadi reiterated Jordan’s backing of any Syrian-led political process aimed at establishing a system that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people, safeguards their rights, and paves the way for a stable and prosperous future.
He further stressed the urgency of protecting Syria from descending into chaos and maintaining the integrity of its national institutions.
Safadi underscored Jordan's readiness to extend all possible assistance to the Syrian people.
