AMMAN—
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Minister in the Prime Minister’s
Office and Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs of Singapore,
Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, stressed the strong ties that bring together the two
countries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

During
a meeting, the two sides discussed scopes of developing ties in various
spheres, including education, trade, tourism, investment, and technical
training.
They
stressed the continuation of exchange programs for university students and
setting up institutional mechanisms for cooperation in youth sector.
The
two ministers reviewed a wide range of regional and international issues, in
the forefront of which is the
Palestinian cause.
In
this context, Safadi stressed the need to halt all the Israeli military actions
and provocative measures against the Palestinians and stop all the illegitimate
procedures that undermine the
two-state solution.
