AMMAN — On Saturday, the weather
will be fair in the highlands and plains, and hot in the desert areas, the
Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds, the
Jordan Meteorological Department (
JMD) said in its daily update.

According to the JMD report, temperatures will record higher rates than their
normal averages by 7-9°C degrees, and the weather will be
relatively hot in the highlands and sizzling in the rest of the Kingdom's
regions.
Meanwhile, Monday will see a slight drop in temperatures,
and the weather will be moderate in the highlands and plains, and hot in the
Badia regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with the possibility
of light and scattered showers of rain, especially in the Kingdom's southern
and eastern regions, the JMD said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Amman will range between
32°C, dropping to 20°C at night, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see a scorching
41°C, dipping into 23°C during night hours.
