Following the incident, which left 14 dead and nine injured, His Majesty gave instructions to the government to fully care for the impacted families and to purchase new homes for them at his own expense, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Royal Court Chief Youssef Issawi handed the title deeds to the new homes to the families as he welcomed them at the Royal Court.

Issawi, who is also chairman of a committee tasked with following up on Royal initiatives, visited one of the families in their new fully-furnished home.
