AMMAN — Minister of Tourism Nayef Fayez, on Thursday, met Tunisian Ambassador to Jordan, Khaled Suhaili, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The two sides discussed Fayez's expected working visit to Tunisia at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart to hold the second session of the joint Tunisian-Jordanian tourism sectoral committee, according to a ministry statement.
The two countries are also scheduled to sign the draft executive program for the tourism cooperation agreement for 2021– 2023 in its final version.
During the meeting, discussions stressed the importance of following up on recommendations and outcomes of the last meeting of the tourism and traditional industries committees by prioritizing cooperation areas, primarily hotel sectors, tourism marketing, and expertise exchange, in a way that gives an executive nature for bilateral tourism collaboration.
Talks also went over areas of developing the tourism flow between the two countries by involving the private sector in this process, the statement noted.
