AMMAN — Upper House President Faisal Al-Fayez expressed his condolences over the death of former senator Michel Hamarneh, who passed away on Wednesday, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
Hamarneh’s life was dedicated to Jordan and its Hashemite leadership, Fayez said.
Fayez commended Hamarneh's virtues and his role in serving the Kingdom and His Majesty King Abdullah through all of his public positions, especially with his work in the Upper House.
The Senate President added that “the country has lost one of its loyal men who had a great influence in politics, media, and the tourism sector,” wishing God to have mercy upon him.
Fayez expressed his support and condolences to Hamarneh’s family and friends.
