First Cybersecurity Summit in Jordan set for September 25

AMMAN — The National Cybersecurity Center (NCSC) has announced that the inaugural Cybersecurity Summit is scheduled for September 25th, under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince Hussein اضافة اعلان

In collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology Association of Jordan (Intaj), the NCSC revealed that the summit will address several key topics including the global cybersecurity market size, cloud security solutions, virus and malware protection, threat detection tools, security analysis, identity and access management services, fraud and hacking protection, and other relevant services and products, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

Bassam Maharmeh, the head of the center, highlighted the summit's objective of enhancing Jordan's cybersecurity capabilities. He emphasized the role of the summit in aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah and the government to position Jordan as a regional hub in cybersecurity.

Bring more than 400 cybersecurity experts and specialists
Eid Al-Suwais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intaj, noted that the global cybersecurity market grew to $173 billion in the past year and is projected to reach $266 billion by 2027, as per international reports. The summit aims to bring together more than 400 cybersecurity experts and specialists, along with over 20 exhibitors showcasing innovative cybersecurity solutions.
