Dead Sea - The First Gulf-Jordan Investment Conference kicked off today with Minister of Investment Muthanna Al-Gharaibeh opening the event on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Held at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center at the Dead Sea, the conference is organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of GCC Chambers.

The conference, under the theme "Partnerships, Investment, Economic Integration," focuses on exploring opportunities for cooperation and investment across several promising sectors in Jordan.
Key figures attending include Jassim Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), along with heads and members of boards of directors from GCC chambers of commerce and industry. Gulf business leaders, investors in Jordan, Jordanian entrepreneurs, and public and private sector representatives are also in attendance.
Throughout the event, the discussions will aim to strengthen investment and trade relations between Jordan and the Gulf countries, building on the success of numerous Gulf investments that have contributed positively to the Jordanian economy.
Sessions will cover sectors where Jordan has competitive advantages, including tourism, information technology, mining, creative industries, and energy.
On the sidelines, the 65th meeting of the GCC Federation of Chambers’ Board of Directors will be held for the first time outside the GCC, further reflecting the deepening ties between Jordan and the Gulf nations.
