AMMAN - The first shipment of Iraqi crude oil arrived on Thursday to
Jordan, in implementation of the new agreement signed between the two countries to supply the Kingdom with 3.7 million oil barrels at a rate of 10,000brls per day with a discount of $16 from the price of Brent crude per barrel.

According to Burj Al Hayat Transport and Trading Co., the agreed oil deliveries meet 10 percent of Jordan's daily need for oil and its derivatives.
Oil shipments are loaded at Baiji refinery in Iraq's Salah al-Din Governorate to Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company (JPRC) in Zarqa city, delivered by 800 Jordanian and Iraqi fuel tankers, using door-to-door delivery service, the company added.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources had awarded a tender to transport crude oil from Iraq's Baiji to Zarqa's JPRC to Burj Al Hayat Transport and Trading Co.
