The introduction of a new air route supported by the Jordan Tourism Board signifies an increase in tourist arrivals and the revival of charter flights, according to Makram Qeisi, the chairman of JTB and Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.

Collaborative efforts to boost tourism
Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, the director general of JTB, stated that the newly established route is the result of collaborative efforts between the Ministry, the JTB, and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.

These entities have been working towards the shared goal of boosting tourism in the Kingdom.

Arabiyat added that the JTB aims to attract regulated charter and low-cost flights from various countries directly to the Queen Alia International Airport and King Hussein International Airport.
