The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Cybercrime Unit, while monitoring several social media accounts posting content that incites sectarianism and racism, was able to identify the administrators of five such accounts within the Kingdom.اضافة اعلان

He added that the owners of these five accounts were arrested and referred to the judiciary, where the public prosecutor decided to detain them in correction and rehabilitation centers.

The spokesperson confirmed that specialized teams continue to monitor content published from accounts that violate the law or spread harmful messages, and that additional account administrators—operating both inside and outside the Kingdom—have also been identified and reported.

He emphasized that there will be zero tolerance for such accounts, whether they are operated from within Jordan or abroad, and that the authorities will not allow anyone to harm national unity, social cohesion, or incite against any component of Jordanian society.
