Five arrested for firearms and narcotics possession

AMMAN — Investigators from the Anti-Drug Administration tracked down a number of suspicious and wanted individuals after receiving information that a criminal gang was being formed to distribute narcotics in Aqaba, the media spokesperson of the Public Security Directorate said, according to Al Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

The media spokesperson confirmed that security forces raided the location the suspects were reported to be at and confirmed that criminal activities were afoot, firearms and narcotics were found in the suspects’ possession.

Security forces arrested five individuals, one of whom was classified as dangerous.

The security team also seized two firearms, one of whom was an automatic weapon, and a quantity of narcotics ready for distribution, the media spokesperson added.
