Amro mentioned that the improvement in the
purchase movement of food and Ramadan goods would be modest, as Jordanians are
presently focused on Eid essentials, Al-Ghad reported.
He added, “Market activity during the current
month of Ramadan has been 30 percent lower compared to usual," confirming
that food and Ramadan goods prices are ‘excellent, stable, and available in
sufficient quantities.’
Amro highlighted that major commercial
centers, supermarkets, and malls continue to offer realistic discounts on
various food items and goods needed by Jordanians and consumers during the holy
month.
He also noted that the flow of imported goods
to the kingdom is smooth, with no delays in their arrival, mentioning a crisis
in inspection operations at Yard four in Aqaba Port due to the accumulation of
goods.
